Lited below are our representatives on the Georgetown City Council. The Mayor is elected at large while the council members represent specific districts. Our precinct is divided in half by the district boundaries. Sun City Blvd forms the district boundary that divides us into two council districts. Those in homes between Sun City Blvd and Hwy 195 fall into District 4. Those of us living between Cowan Creek and Sun City Blvd fall into District 3. As a matter of some immediancy as I write this, you should know that both of our council representatives are up for election in 2025. The filing deadline to run for these seats is January 15, 2025. We really should find some candidates to represent us. Any volunteers?
